Measure twice, cut once. - A year of growth

So after a full year (to just about the hour) I measured my hair:

(top - side - back)

Almost 7 inches on all fronts!! It should have grown 6" (half inch per month) so I'm above average. :)

And whenever I tell people this is how much hair you can grow in a year they pause and then say they thought it'd be less. But I have this suspicion that they think the opposite. Sometimes I'll realize I'm staring at someone's awful shoes or jacket or something and to give reason why I was staring I compliment it. I think it's like that....but one never really knows.
